I should have elaborated that I meant to include overseas leagues, but honestly, I think he has the game to play in the NBA. (If given the chance).

Perhaps not a starter, but in some kind of role.

He'll be on a roster, but the team starting him will still need a PG, IMO. Facilitating isn't his thing. He's a smaller, slower, less athletic Iverson.

Agreed. He does not facilitate well at all. But he can create seperation off the dribble, and has the deep range.

He gets a lot of steals in college, but he's probably a defensive liability in the pro's though. He would get backed down and posted on alot by bigger PG's.

Downey better learn a foreign language if he wants to get nice checks. The only thing he's getting stateside is the McDonald's manager cash the D League pays.
