I live about 10 miles from the launch pads.... After it woke me up I got to watch that glow as well.. pretty cool stuff. Nice pics. You down in Melbourne?

I'm about 2hrs west. Still very bright though

I'll give the UAE credit, they have a young, but surprisingly valid space program. Obviously, they have no launch facilities, but they have some big ambitions.

I think that will become more of a driver for commercial space going beyond simple satellite services, countries that don’t have the resources to do everything can leverage commercial entities to punch above their weight. They have a vision, and the money, just need some additional services to fill gaps.

I knew they launched one on the west coast Friday but didn't know they did another one Saturday.

Another scheduled for Wednesday followed by Atlas on Thursday and another Space X next Wednesday. I remember when launches were months apart, now it's routine business. Great time to be alive and see the growth of our progress in space. I know it's just satellites, but the continued learnings and upgrades to these successful launches will lead to future space endeavors.

I was a tiny part of this facility and got a juicy nut when it was being built circa 2000 or so. It was to be the worlds largest building until they scaled it back by a 1/3rd.

Wow. Is Starliner actually going to launch? We are within 20 minutes of liftoff and clock still going.
Speaking of clocks…..hopefully they set and synchronized the booster and spacecraft clocks this time

Will still probably make its ISS docking okay but this would not give me the warm fuzzies if I were slated for a future crewed flight
