I got my old sun filter out other day that fits on my big scope (been a minute) used it with 10x Binoculars. I was able to make out a few sun spots and thought just how many earths could fit in that small spot that I could hardly make out. Just a reminder how small our planet really is.

Boeing is so far behind its not funny. It's sad cause 30 years ago they'd likely be neck and neck with space x. Just watched the Boeing documentary on Netflix of the max issues. I know airline department is separate from the space department, but the whole culture change of the company is sad.

they got hooked on those government contracts where they didn't have to produce. They haven't even made a real effort to get into the commercial space enterprises like SpaceX has done. SpaceX would take a huge hit if their government jobs dried up, but they would likely keep going just at a slower pace. Boeing's space program loses its government contracts and its gone.
