I've read a few reports that Nasa wasn't happy with a few things on SpaceX's capsule. I'm okay with that, but I can't believe that SpaceX can't make something infinitely better than the Russian Soyuz capsule.

You know though, the Soyuz has the longevity factor going for it and has been reliable. From time to time Russians can build a winner.

Yeah..i wouldnt fly in a russian anything. I worked with an old russian guy, proud of his heritage, even he said that anything russian made equipment wise was a deathtrap.

Watched video yesterday of mig29 fulcrums landing on the Indian carrier...was amazed they could even do that..the russians themselves cant keep a carrier in working order...and any engine issue that gave you less than 100% thrust puts a 20 million dollar aircraft in the drink. I will say that those mig29s should easily outperform the super outdated F16s that pakistan has...they cant out turn an f16, nearly nothing can, but they are much faster, carry much more weapons, and should probably have better avionics since they are a full generation newer aircraft i believe. Those mig29s were meant to compete with the f15s (and failed to) not its little brother the 16s..

Russia did have a problem with it being automated docking. They mention it in the video I posted. NASA agreed to take some extra precaustions when docking by closing an extra hatch and having Soyuz free for emergency evacuation should an accident happen.
