I thought Garfield himself was fine and the first movie was alright.

But the second one is a trainwreck. Terrible job of casting with Jamie Foxx and they obviously didn't learn the lesson of Spider-man 3 with throwing too many bad guys on the screen.

I was interested in the Sinister Six movie, and it's actually not dead, so we may end up seeing it at some point.

Meh Garfield was a retread, nothing better than Toby in the first two with Raimi at the helm.

Apparently Sony is trying to make their own Marvel Universe but now without Spider-man.

Sounds kind of dumb to create a universe with Spider-man realted characters but not have Spider-man.

This kind of crap is why Sony had to loan the character to Marvel.

No kidding. That is the last trailer I watch for this one. I felt like they showed all the plot points of the movie.

Maybe I've just gotten to where I watch more trailers than I used to, but it seems like more and more studios are doing this. What do they possibly have to gain from giving the whole movie away like that.

Maybe they should go the SW: Rogue One route where virtually none of the footage in the trailer made it into the actual film.

I generally only watch the initial teaser trailers for movies I want to actually see. If I see one that's 2:00 long I avoid because yeah, you're going to see too much.

Heck the last Terminator movie did show a major plot point in the trailer.

It's been going on for years. I feel like the early 2000's is when this trend started.

I'm with VSF. In general I pretty much know from a teaser if I'm interested in the movie then I avoid the rest of the trailers and promo clips.
