I think he’s the best one. This Holland kid is getting a massive ego. I wouldn’t be surprised if he burns out soon similar to Shia Lebeuf. His rise to fame so quickly could be a detriment to him just as it was to Shia.

Peter Parker is supposed to be a HS kid. Doubt Disney reverses course. Not sure about the Shia Lebouf comparison.

Garfield is my favorite Spider-Man as well. He’s the most dynamic actor of the 3.

Holland has been my favorite Peter/Spidey but the the first 2 Rami still capture the spirit of the comics the best.

The Home series has been fun but I’ve never been a big fan of Iron Boy Jr approach. Not for the long haul anyway. I’m glad they set up a back to basics approach going forward.

Pretty much how I feel, but I really wanted Spider-Man in the MCU so I was ok with it.

I assume we are at the point where we are past spoiler tags now, I reckon you click this thread at your own risk. So IMO:

I have to say, this movie actually gave me a newfound respect for Garfield’s Spider Man. I was always pretty hard on him, but he kind of changed my mind in this one. He was like oddly refreshing in this movie.

I think that is the general consensus on Garfield.

Although I’ve seen a lot of people defend him by saying it wasn’t his fault the scripts were bad. Whatever… I never even bothered watching the second one.
