If they are correct, my pitchfork and torch are at the ready for a march on Gainesville.

I'll be carrying my official copy of the "idiot's guide to burning mattresses" with me

Honest question what will it take for you to be happy with Muschamp next year? Also how much will a loss to UT affect that stance?

That would be fine with me. I seldom get the opportunity to go to Knoxville to see games.

I agree as well. West TN is The Red Headed Step Child of the state and I would love to watch my Vols play, win, then go party it up on Beale.

for me, 9 wins.

now, i'll start and say i don't think 9 wins is a realistic goal for the 2014 season. but, that's not my fault, that's his.

if it's 8 or less, that's 3 out of 4 seasons that are the same or worse than what ron zook did and that equals pink slip.

it's not just the wins and losses, but also his work on the recruiting trail.....which is inexcusable at florida.

if i listed the offensive recruits signed from 2011 through 2013, you'd be shocked. half of them are gone.....literally. i mean, you don't even have to get into a debate about whether they are talented players or not.....they aren't even on campus anymore.

then, when you look at the other half of those classes that is still on campus....

let me give you one example.....

in those signing classes, muschamp signed 3 running backs, 3 tight ends, and 8 wr's.

they have combined to have one touchdown catch for their entire careers.

it's breathtakingly bad.

for the other part of your question, losing to tennessee in and of itself wouldn't get him fired. but, the reality is, florida isn't losing to tennessee and winning 9 games. if florida loses to tennessee, they may not go bowling again. what losing to tennessee would mean is that it took muschamp 4 years to fall behind a program still recovering from the self imposed death penalty known as derek dooley.

let me also add as an example of muschamp's recruiting without going into a detail....he pulled a dooley.

florida actually has problems just with numbers at certain positions. forget if they are good players or not, there aren't enough of them.

here's a statistic for you all.

florida will likely start 3 transfers this season on offense. 3!

Good info 99 Gator. I didn't realize you were losing so many recruits. I think we have about 4 recruits from the 2012 class that will contribute. The freshmen will have to fill in early.

Holy cow Florida is worse than I thought...we're still going to lose to them though because my goodness they're in our heads.

2013 South Carolina is very confused by this statement....

I don't blame a Florida fan for not having respect for Tennessee, but we're not Kentucky. It's stupid to assure yourself that losing to us means you can't beat anyone.

Tennessee beating South Carolina was the exception, not the rule. If that game was played 10 times, South Carolina wins 7-8 of those. The stars aligned and UT pulled out a win.
