Shouldn't we expect Kiffin to pull in two stud/ highly ranked QB's as we were doing in the 90's? You just never know if the kids are going to turn out as advertised. As you can see from UT's current qb situation, having only one highly ranked 5* qb recruit on the roster isn't enough (crompton), since you never know if they will pan out.

Thus, i think getting Heaps would be a great start, but UT needs to sign two highly ranked QB's becuase only one of them will likely turn out to be a quality QB in the SEC.

I just think it's going to be tough because there isn't a plethora of guys that fit Kiffin's style out there this year and the big names commit early. There aren't even any 5* QB on Rivals right now. The second QB we sign will likely be someone somewhat under the radar at this point. I think they are looking very strongly at Hendrix for the #2 guy as of now. Not sure how well that is going to work out TBH.

We should hope, but expect is probably too strong a word. The way things work, if you're one of the top prospects at QB you are going to want the best shot to play. By the time the meaningless (nearly) star rankings come out, we should hope for a 5 and a 4 at the most.

Austin has talked to Quarles this morning and he would not say that Tennessee and South Carolina are still tied, but didn't say he was committed to any one either. We are watching that one closely.

Austin has also talked to Moody who still does not have a Tennessee offered.

There is a kid in Memphis Jamarcus Hines who has told some people that he is committed to Tennessee, but he doesn't have an offer from the Vols.

I don't think Heaps is the player the sports animal is talking about, but I do think he will commit to the vols in the next two weeks. I heard this from one of the players.

The rumor that's being talked about is that jon gruden is out at tampa bay. I personally don't believe it.

That started when some posters on here started a vicious rumor that Gruden was out at Tampa Bay. Of course we now know that wasn't true and wish him good luck this season in the NFC South.

to be honest, I really just wanted to stir the pot and I did receive an email from a source that I would say has been both right and wrong in the past. I did qualify it as a rumor but everyone seems to have missed that.
