My favorite is the 1955 Topps All American set, led by six of our own. I have about 3/4 of the set, about half of which are graded. My only key card from the set is Jim Thorpe, ungraded.

Topps has done some reprints

Johnny Majors is in that subset Roland James is in I have the autographed one

As a lifelong Dolphins fan i find that exceedingly cool.

Quick aside: A few years ago I went to see a Dolphins-Rams game at the Coliseum in LA and the Dolphins fan in front of me was wearing a Jay Fiedler jersey. I mean, there was someone who bought a Fiedler jersey?? Talk about a deep pull. Have to say, it's even funnier than a Ray Finkle jersey, and I've seen a few of those in the wild.

nice. I only have a couple dozen of the 2005 auto All Americans, mostly the less expensive guys. The 2003 set is 2/3 pro 1/3 college. I probably have 90% of 2003 set from buying a hobby box off eBay.

Took my boy(10) to his first card show yesterday.
He got a nice haul.

It looks like he's off to a great start. I'm a little jealous....lol That reminds me of collecting cards with my dad and stepdad growing up. Got a Topps baseball box for Christmas from my dad that I've yet to open. Man, this makes me want to get into my collection.

It has been a lot of fun. He started collecting last year, buying packs and getting into a few breaks with our LCS(the owner is a really good, trustworthy guy)and this was his first time buying singles.
It definitely takes me back to my young days, chasing José Canseco, Barry Bonds and Gregg Jeffries rookies!😎
I’m having a blast collecting with him.

He bought the Pujols “jersey” because he has the Pujols bat relic from the same set.
Only thing is when we got home we noticed that it’s a game used pants card, not a jersey!

I bought my first box of Baseball cards in well over a decade this weekend. At Walmart I got a box of 2023 Bowman and it was a pretty good one. I got one autograph in Spencer Arrighetti (?), a insert of William Lugo, a Druw Jones which is probably the best card and it makes me feel old that that is Andrew's kid.

I also got a Chrome insert of Drew Gilbert. I'm not sure on any of the other (RCs) or 1st Bowman's. It also had two Vaughn Grissom (RCs)
