I have a bunch of PSA slabs and I have started to move more towards SGC but I buy both if I like the card.

I don't have a problem with PSA for modern cards but vintage just looks wrong in anything but a SGC.

Picked these up for nostalgic reasons. Not sure what these were from. It's a bummer the guy didn't have a Daisy


Now my big boy purchases my first ever Mays/Snider and Mantle for the PC. Yeah, I know I've said I don't like vintage in PSA slabs but at a (1) it was just in my price range and I haggled the guy down and extra $15 bucks.

I didn't realize until I was taking the pictures these cards were from the same set. I got them from different dealers.

Picked up a vintage lot. I’ve been thinking about getting pretty deep into Vintage by collecting the 500 HR club. I’m not sure, though, if I’d rather collect it by the year they joined (relatively cheap) or if I’d rather get a card from one of each players’ best season…rookie/mvp/most HR/highest WAR. It’s way cheaper to go by the year they hit 500 but a lot of those cards don’t have the eye appeal.
