So why is it these right wing websites can confirm this stuff but NBC can't?

Your facts are wrong. NBC did in fact include this staffer's name:

“Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate,” the Maryland Democrat’s office said in a statement to NBC News on Saturday, which was first obtained by Politico. “We will have no further comment on this personnel matter.”

It appears you popped off here without reading this thoroughly. Do more homework next time or risk getting called out

So with all those clues, NBC still couldn't identify who was in the video or why the guy got fired? Why mention the words "conservative outlets" four times in the article, all the while not confirming anything? I think it would merely suffice to mention the outlet by name like "Daily Caller". Should we now preface NBC News with "liberal outlet NBC News"?

Let's put it this way: NBC could not discredit ANYTHING in the Daily Caller story. At this point it appears that everything was reported accurately. I think that should be NBC's next headline

It's really not that tough to discern who it is. The film showed faces. The gay community knows who's who in a city. All the Daily Caller needed was a gay who's connected in DC. My guess is they have plenty of them. I bet NBC has even more. This isn't akin to solving the JFK assassination

Just 18 months before a scandal involving gay sex filmed in a Senate hearing room shook Washington, a Congressman triggered a similar investigation over acts filmed in a Capitol office.

Rep. Dan Newhouse - a Republican from Washington who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump - confirmed reports Wednesday that a similar investigation into sex acts in a Congressional office took place in June 2022.

One of the 2022 videos allegedly showed a man pleasuring himself in a House office building, identifiable by standard Capitol House furniture and carpeting, as well as a branded mousepad

A second video shows two men engaged in sexual activity in another office setting. Their faces are not visible.

The anonymous male staffer denied having taken part in any illicit recordings, according to Semafor.

Newhouse's employee said the investigation ended within a month, with Newhouse allegedly telling him there was 'no evidence to the allegation.'

The staffer left Newhouse's office in fall of that year to work outside of Washington, DC.
