Stafford and Moreno to announce

He's accomplished convincing NFL scouts to take him among the first 15 picks in the draft.

That's fun for him. Imagine how little Peyton would have really done at UT if he hadn't come back for his senior year.

This could definitely make for an interesting game next year. I think King/Samuel pick up the slack quite fine at RB, but I have no idea who they will have for QB. 4 guys will fight for the job but all have huge downfalls. Southerland is also gone and he's a huge piece of their offense. They also lose MoMass, Harris, and Goodman. They'll still have weapons, specifically Green but it's alot easier when you can double one guy and stack the box. Their OL should be stout though, barring injuries since they return everyone.

On defense, they lose 3 of their starting DL but retain everyone else at those positions. They also return all of their LBs, save Ellerbe. In the secondary, they lose Byrd and Brown but return everyone else. The defense should be stout. They will also be breaking in a new punter.

he can make all the throws, including to the other team in key moments. i've never doubted his ability, just his decision making.

if he continues completing passes to the other team, he won't be around long.

Stafford is a big dude with a big arm. He's gonna get big money. His lifelong hero is John Elway, and I can see him being every bit Elway in the NFL.

Matt Leinart probably told Stafford to take the money and get the hell out of school while you're still the scouts' darling. If you're projected to be a top-5 pick, like Stafford supposedly is, then the only way you should come back to school is if you absolutely do not care how much money you end up making as a pro (i.e., Manning).

It will be interested to see how all my Bulldog friends down here turn on Stafford and Moreno. They're the drama queens of the SEC, so I expect to be hearing a lot in the next few days about how overrated they both are and how UGA will be better off without them anyway.

You also have to remember those 2 QB's that are committed to UGA right now. Richt was preparing for this situation all along.

So why not start making money a year earlier?

I don't really care what he decides. I'm just wondering how UGA fans will react. This guy was supposed to make David Greene look like Seth Green. He didn't win anything and now he's bolting early. It's got to be pretty disappointing.
