I got a feeling that this Luke will be like Obi-Wan in A New Hope. Old and wise, but his best years are in the past.

I don't like the idea of Anakin being a force ghost at all. It was a nice moment at the end of Jedi but as we've learned it is really something that a Jedi has to prepare for before death. Vader didn't even know it was possible.

From what I've seen in the saga, Jedi's get MORE powerful with age.

He was perfectly fine in Jumper (which was actually a sneaky good "bad" sci-fi action flick that I actually wished had a sequel.)

He's not good by any means, but he is more than capable of being a decent part to an action flick, but he needs a lot of good direction and not terrible dialogue.

All he'd be doing is acting in the suit, correct? It would JEJs voice. His actual acting would be minimal.

I'm assuming we'd see Christensen in the suit with, perhaps, James Earl Jones' voice. Except this time, we'd be hearing a happy "Vader" voice.

Why would his ghost need Vader's equipment tho? Is that Star Wars version of Hell?

Somehow I had it in my head that HC would be appearing as Vader in Rogue One, not Episode 8. I think that would be really cool and would bring the character back for more without actually having HC do that much.

That would be great to see Vader in some of the stories before Ep IV.

His appearance in the Rebels cartoon made me realize we never actually saw Vader at his most bad azz in the original trilogy.

That's not to say I want to see him flipping around like Yoda in EP II but would definitely like to see him demonstrate his power as a Sith Lord.

I agree. He's one of, if not THE most iconic characters in cinema history. The more Vader in the classic suit you can get, the better. Hell, he was basically an enforcer for the Emporer, he would be exactly the one to be trying to thwart the rebels stealing these plans.

Well he was the one that intercepted Leia at the start of Ep IV so it makes even more sense for him to be somehow involved in Rogue One.

You wanna see Vader before ep 3 then read some of the books. Personally I don't see the point of having Vader back. He was essentially an apprentice. I'd rather sideous, plaguies, or Bane ghost.

Reading a book is hardly the same as a movie. DV is a very visual character.

The Rebels episode in June was awesome the way they depicted him. It really showed off his fighting style and his piloting skills in a Tie-Fighter.

Me either. I'm probably going to see if my local theater is going to be apart of the pre-sale tickets if so I'm getting my either today or tomorrow. I'll also probably do the marathon if they show them and everything works out and I can get out of work for the day.

Right. I'm not sure if malco is one of the participating theaters or not. I hope they do presales. I plan to be at one of the screenings on the 17th.
