I think it's definitely going to be an open battle for the starting spot going into next year, but yea saying it's a "controversy" might be a little strong.
Even so, you really believe Bray would be the de facto starter with a completely new coaching staff? There's no way CBJ would put up with the off-field antics and lackluster decisions/work ethic that Bray had while here.
To be successful you have to have a leader on and off the field with a great set of intangibles. I think Peterman fits this perfectly along with him being the most mobile QB we have. Plus CBJ recruited him heavily out of HS and it came down to Tennessee and Cincinnati for him.
But to echo others, this is a great spot to be in with Worely and Peterman. The OW Game is gonna be legit!
