From another thread, OCR investigating 192 other Universities for the Title IX allegations. This may help Tennessee as many other Universities have way more incidents...including those that recruit against Tennessee.

Not a good situation regardless... :hi:

I really didn't follow recruiting real close, because I didn't know about Volnation till 2007ish. I lurked for awhile before joining. I have followed it on the RF ever since I joined. But yes I do know Fulmer started slowly, but we can't afford to get behind like that now, it is a different animal in the social media era. I am just feeling really uneasy about how this class ends up. I haven't really ever felt like a class could have such radically different outcomes as this one potentially. It could go extremely well, but it could go extremely bad if things don't go the way we hope this year. There is no real middle ground this year IMO. If Butch and the team miss expectations, it will be seen as a massive failure and an indictment on his ability to get over the hump...which by the way I don't feel like is necessarily an absolute truth, because so many factors have to go your way. Just a few key injuries, and this season could implode from the pressure, but it could also go extremely well with just a few good breaks. I guess I just have come to expect bad breaks. I hope that all ends this year, but at this point that is all it is...hope.

Was expecting your post to be cursing me, whew :)

I enjoy following recruiting, but it won't destroy my optimism as this point.
I know times have changed, but with a good season, the recruiting class could dramatically improve.
Hang in there Ulysses, this recruiting season may feel like the Odyssey (get it? :hi: )
It will end well for the Volunteers as decreed by the Fates...
