I am 71 and know a lot about everything, so listen up. If we have the kind of season all of us think we will, then the recruiting will fall into place. It is that simple. Now see, that wasn't so hard to understand. The best players want to go where they have a chance to win something.
1. I hate Alabama.
2. I didn't choose Tennessee. I grew up here and was introduced to college football with the 98 national title.
3. The only difference between me and the "die hards" is I don't waste my time watching my favorite team when they suck.
I've never been a fan of other teams. Just don't care about my team when they suck.
Your handle just made me think that he also missed out on one of the greatest players to ever wear the orange. But I'm sure he was still breaking down Eric Berry's tape preparing for the draft.
It is kind of odd that Butch was cleaning up with instate recruits when he first came here but now seems to be struggling with them. Anyone have any theories as to why?
6I will say watching Eric Berry highlights was the only saving grace of that terrible era.
He's the most athletic player I've ever seen in college.
I thought he would set the NFL on fire. And eventhough he's had a pro bowl career, I really thought he would be a HOFer.
someone said earlier we cannot sell early playing time and on field success... GA's in the same boat so how are they reeling them in?? With a new coach and staff I might add.... Things are not trending good here for this class... hope we are successful on the field this season to pull some last minute pickups and set ourselves up for some great kids in '18, but right now it doesn't look like we are gonna get jack squat.
