State standards are pathetic.

Compare state standards to a top private school and the state's standards are extremely lower.

Public schools are a joke.

I'm all for it VG. Find what works and reward it. I'm skeptical about the shift of resources to what works and away from what doesn't.

I'm an educator too but most proposals I see are about channeling more money to education without consequences for underperformers.

Wish your standards were as high as you teachers pretend they are and I wouldn't have to send 3 kids to private school at 7750 bucks per kid. Thanks teachers.
