Stating the Obvious...Golesh!

Sampson was open in the flat, including the last possession. Nico decided to go downfield instead of Sampson, who may have scored.
This is a symptom of poor line play. His internal clock is so sped up right now because there is no rhyme or reason as to which side (both?) of the line will completely whiff. We were struggling 6 on 4 up front. He's going first read then having to panic and run every which way. Any semblance of trust in the line and he makes reads.
That said, when the line IS playing bad, you gotta look for the RB...but most of the night the RB was covered up, as well. They were able to keep like 7 guys in coverage / spy.

CJH is supposed to be a O genius.

Kiffin realized Crompton could only see half the field and made the offense based on that and he was successful to the point Crompton was drafted.

CHH should be able to do the same.

Losing Golesh feels almost like losing Cutcliffe. Hopefully it doesn’t lead to the same results for the head coach.

USF is 2-4 and put up a combined 13 points in their last two games vs Memphis and Tulane.

Not the message anyone on a fan forum wants to hear, but...

Football is complex.

There's a reason grown men earn a million dollars a year coaching it to a mere winning season level of success. Eleven players on the field during every play, and if just one misses his assignment, has a breakdown in his technique, or just trips on the turf... that's often the difference between a win and a loss.
