Stay Classy Bama

The kid shouting was immature, inarticulate, frustrated with the loss, and probably drunk. He was just bleating out what came to his tiny mind.
He was wrong to say what he did but the story's a tempest in a teapot. His main authority figure needs to show him the light so he doesn't think or act that way again and that should be the end of it.

You’re assuming his main authority figure doesn’t feel the same way.

It’s not a stretch to say the previous generation(s) of non-minorities in Alabama weren’t the most enlightened when it came to issues of race.

I wonder how they reconcile the fact that they cheer for minority players and at the same time hate them?
I asked that of some of my fellow UT students who were on the racist side and the answer was 'because they're ours' as in 'they represent us'. They didn't seem to see the contradiction. Ideally as they matured they saw the folly in bigotry.

Good point. I should have said "should" instead of "needs to".
No, it's not at all a stretch to say that about Alabama, not that the other 49 were bastions of equality.

Bama is using the "controversy" over the foul Bama idiots screaming at Texas players in order to "crowd out of the news" or conceal allegations of Bama fans committing intentionally demeaning assaults on women in the Texas parent's section.

Angie Wisner, a mother of a Texas player, on Saturday posted that Bama fans threw beer cans and water bottles and spit at the visiting team's parents section thoughout the game.

A second person came forward. Dr. April Finkley, the mother of Texas sophomore and former Alabama high school standout Justice Finkley, posted:

"This win hits different for me. I’m from AL. BHam is my City I know T-Town like the back of my hand. Our game day experience included being harassed because our son is a “traitor” and having beer cans thrown at our section the whole game. So I stand on this energy right here! [Angie Wisner's statement]
