To me, SP's laugh sounds as if he's wishing the new coach luck w/ this administration b/c they're not exactly straight arrows either -- something more than one of the posters on here have suggested.

He played hard for us, y'all. I don't recall seeing him lay down or mail it in like some of our players have done on occasion. Perhaps he's not a fountain of basketball skill, but he gave it up for Tennessee.

I hate him because, in my (and friends of mine) experience with him as a human being, he is trash.

It isn't as if his dad's firing was unjust. He caused it himself. The Pearls can't blame anyone but Bruce Pearl.

I bet if twitter excisted in 1993/94 Allen Houston would have tweeted some negative comment. He wasn't so thrilled with UT when his dad was fired. IJS..

Exactly, it's not like Martin was the reason for Bruce getting fired. What point does it serve to publicly laugh at the guy, when the guy had absolutely nothing to do with your father being fired?

Why? Hes done nothing to earn criticism yet! Support the team and support the staff! If u have an issue then thats with the athletic department...not with a coach who is furthering his career for himself and his family!!! Let the man prove himself before u diss him!

Doyel is low rent, period.

I'm not sure the "hacked" thing was a serious accusation of criminal activity. It could have been his way of saying that in hindsight he didn't mean to put those comments out there, or any number of things, really. I think most media members would probably hold back from calling him a liar and equating him to scum. Doyel's "special" though.

Face it...... Little Pearl would have NEVER been on the Vols (or any other decent D1 roster) if his dad wasn't the coach. I'm sure some JUCO somewhere needs a dishonest coach with no character........ NOW LEAVE!!!!!!

So what you mean to tell me is that this man is stating that someone hacked his twitter account and that these comments were not his but someone elses? I'm sorry I just dont see why someone would hack his twitter account and not post something with a little more flare to it. So I guess what I am saying is that he is telling a bold face lie like his daddy. I could care less about him given it his all for UT btw, Steven pearl sucks at the game of basketball. Am I the only one who thinks this? Like who really cares what Steven Pearl thinks? I would understand if he actually did anything meaningful at Tennessee, but like his daddy we would of been better off without him. JMO
