After reading the SEC tiebreaker rules again, if it were a 4 way tie this is how it would work (as I understand it).
Record against all tied teams first
Tied UT 3-2 and Vandy 3-2, 4th- Florida 2-3 (.400), 5th- Bama 1-2 (.333). Then they would break the tie for 2nd by; first head to head- even at 1-1, then record vs UK-even 0-2, then record vs Florida- UT 2-0, Vandy 1-1. Thus, UT would still finish 2nd and Vandy 3rd.
