The fact that (at least as of earlier this morning) no one seems to know why the market dropped 600 points tells me that something is rotten in the state of Denmark
friday is rarely the day a huge drop comes since people generally don't like to make big bets going into a weekend (particurally a weekend with potential large news from europe). monday and tuesday will be very interesting. if the market is down 100+ on monday (on top of being down 100+ today), we could easily see a huge drop on tuesday.
