Lol.
Sorry Septic, but a lot of people that didn't need that government money shopped on Amazon and I think a lot will continue to do so one they found out how easy it was.Not LOL.
Lot of folks took those $600 stay at home for "free" checks and pumped it into Amazon and NF. "Free" is herein defined as they didn't pay rent because of the moratorium on evictions.
Lots of bad choices made Bezos filthy, filthy rich.
You do realize that Amazon sells stuff other than crap right? I buy my coffee, toilet paper, paper towels and numerous other things from Amazon because it's cheaper, faster and easier than going to a store. That's what I'm saying. Instead of buying groceries and paying rent with the "free money", they bought crap from amazon.

Made me rich too. Just not as rich as Bezos... but good enoughNot LOL.

I never looked at their stock price, but if they doubled during the pandemic congrats to the shareholders. As far as my list of "stuff" coffee and TP go hand in hand. Paper towels come into play after the "crap" is done. How does that invalidate my point? @MontyPython was lol'd at when suggesting that amazon has done better since the covid disruption, his statement isn't debatable.
All I'm saying is that the stimulus checks had to pay a HUGE part in doubling AMZN stock price.
FWIW, I define toilet paper, paper towels and coffee as crap.
Agreed on NFLX, but Amazon was breaking YOY records prior to Covid. Not LOL.
