I'm pretty certain that Goodyear owns businesses in every state and every state is not at "at-will" state and union employees aren't covered by "at-will" laws. So you're saying that a union worker can wear a MAGA hat and a salaried worker can get fired for wearing one? Sounds like Goodyear has stepped on their own wanker.

No. The slide in question wasn't from Corporate. They're trying to thread the tiny needle of "don't wear political attire" but "social causes" are OK. That's what I gather out of the situation. It wasn't aimed solely at MAGA stuff of course, but all pure political clothing... excluding social causes.

I used to work for a mega corp at one time and there is no way they would have allowed some plant or local office to put out their own training on something like this for this very reason. If this wasn't company sanctioned I'm guessing a few HR and management types are soon to be out of work. This display of BLM suckism could cost Goodyear a bunch of money when they could have just kept their mouth shut and Trump would have left them alone.

Just as I thought, not corporate sanctioned, but they also didn't deny it either. They got caught and after a bunch of executives lost a bunch of millions they came out with a semi retraction. Hahahaha, I'm loving the "woke" getting their ass handed to them in the stock market and once people stop buying as many tires from them they'll lose millions more. Maybe they can close down an American tire plant or 2 and make some more tires in China to make up for it?

People’s behavior has been permanently changed by this event. The people that have been driven to Amazon and Netflix aren’t going back to their old habits because those habits are dead. Nevermind how many small businesses have been killed off by these closures. The rich will get richer and the little man even farther behind the 8 ball.
