stock market was up today...

And yet it's still way higher than when Biden took office. I think we need to start admitting it's not really the indicator people claim. I've heard it described as a measure of rich people's feelings and find that to be more accurate
I don't think we've had more than a 5% pullback since Biden was elected. Any small selloff and more people are there to buy. Market is up 20% this year . . .

It's been more about the easing than the president since Obama was in office. I'd expect a (small) correction once the tapering starts.

Explain if you would please. I am unfamiliar but find it interesting that any property ownership/management group could fail these days.
Really?? Your beloved government has allowed thousands if not millions to basically squat without having to pay their rent. SOMEBODY has to pay the banks.

Did you really graduate law school?

It's essentially a closed system. People asking "if" they will bail out Evergrande (or anybody else impacted) is hilarious to me.

I’m thinking this is a little bit of a buying opportunity here (US Markets). Got a good bit of cash to deploy and just add to the stuff I already own and will hold for a good while. Got out of China a long time ago, won’t return.

Trump must be managing them right?
