This the happiest I've been in like 2 years.....

I'm just curious on what others opinion is on this on a scale from 1-10 (1 being Bruce pearl deserves the credit and we only got him bc Memphis or ky didn't have a scholarship for him this year or 10 being ccm did a hell of a job on recruiting stokes and deserves all the credit)

CCM deserves a ton of credit. Go read things over the summer. I think at one point everyone said "Tennessee is done."

Bruce was going to get him. I'm not naive enough to deny that.

Stokes is a smart kid. This wasn't made to play 10-12 games this year. If he wanted UK or Memphis, he would have gone to Memphis or UK.

CCM deserves most of the credit, while Bruce should get some because he did lay the groundwork for Jarnell.

Won 28 bucks in my Thursday night poker game but no computer there, came home and then this. It truly is a wonderful life. Merry Christmas all, especially to you, Jarnell.

Awesome pick up. I guess the followers of Bruce are cutting themselves in private now.


Edit: Nevermind. I see that they are giving him the credit.

UT was pretty much back at square one after Pearl left. UT had some inherent advantages (his brother and Clear), but he wouldn't have come here if Martin hadn't sold himself and the program. Stokes really likes Martin and the staff.

Been on airplanes all day haven't been able to check-up. This is freaking AWESOME!! Martin just bought himself some time. Look forward to seeing Stokes on the floor in January.
