Bruce was going to get him. I'm not naive enough to deny that.

Stokes is a smart kid. This wasn't made to play 10-12 games this year. If he wanted UK or Memphis, he would have gone to Memphis or UK.

CCM deserves most of the credit, while Bruce should get some because he did lay the groundwork for Jarnell.

The kid hasn't played competitive basketball since the summer AAU circuit. I'm pretty sure he was wanting to go somewhere where he could play right away.

I'm sure he did too. I'm also sure that wasn't the main reason he came here. He's a smart kid. If Tennessee wasn't the right school for him, he would not have come to Tennessee just to play for a semester. IMO.
