Posted via VolNation MobileOff the top of my head the only one that i can think of recently is the dawkins kid from duke. he i believe is a sophmore this year, last year is when he came in early. he was a solid contributor right away and played quite a bit in the ncaa tourney for them. it's a bit different his game being primarily a shooter but his scenario was the same as stokes.
we have a very rational and level headed fan base im sure they will be very patient and understanding in evaluating jarnell stokes first few games.
Stokes will be 8'5, 435 lbs. by the end of the season. Book it.

Long time listener, first time poster! This was great.
But so was
You guys crack me up. But, I'd be surprised if Stokes didn't see the floor at least a little Thursday night or if CCM didn't let the guy get some decent minutes off the bench against UK. We're going to be heavy underdogs in both games and as a fan base we shouldn't be surprised to be 0-2 Saturday night. So what's there to lose?
My son spoke with the S&C coach and was told Stokes won't play until the GA game. Needs to lose 15 lbs. Can do that in no time. hmy:
On Vol Calls tonight, CCM said Stokes wanted to come in tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM to watch film. CCM said he told him to get some rest and come in after student orientation tomorrow. This guy is the Peyton Manning of basketball. Apparently eat, lives, sleeps basketball and will outwork everyone.
