I'll take him playing football and missing a few bball games if it means he's coming back.

If he played both, I'm fairly sure he would have to switch to a football scholarship. Basically we would gain an extra bball scholarship next year because Stokes would be a bball walk on.

IMHO he is too soft to play defense. k: Maybe he should try to get better on the court.

I know this is true for incoming freshman, but for an upperclassman I don't think this is the case.

Julius Thomas, Denver TE, played basketball 3 years at Portland St before playing football his Sr. Year Is now one of Peyton's favorite targets and All- Pro after 3 years of pro football. Go for it Jarnell!

If you get over to the football forum, approximately 98.7% of posters over there have Hurd playing literally any other position (besides Runningback, hence that poster saying jokingly that Hurd will play TE) on the field because he's 6'3", which according to them, is entirely too tall to play running back without getting his head ripped off.

I am so glad we have a Mason Dixon Line on Vol Nation.

I do agree with the posters saying this is moot cause he gone. I think in his mind and possibly the NBA's mind he has improved enough to chance making a team.
