Stop blaming the refs seriously. (Please don't merge)

No i don't Mr. Expert but whomever it was RIPPED the helmet off this isn't street ball go back to your backyard i for 1 have played organised football.

So now you know if I played ORGANIZED ball? Learn to spell. I'm sure I've played against more D-1 kids than you've ever seen, seeing as how I grew up in the Muck area of FL. Now go home Tom and see if you can screw Mrs. Ritter as hard as you screwed us. Or maybe you blew your load too much already over the UGA win.

And report you too.

You Can't Be That Dumb... The Tips Of His Fingers Do Not Count As Possession. He Screwed Up. Unforced Error. That Is The Cold Truth.

Hopefully They Will Bounce Back.
but the ball does not leave his hand until after it cross...so its not 100% clear...

Thats funny...I can grip a football on the nose by the ends of my fingers...am I supposed to have every inch of both my hands completely on the ball at all times?
More Stupidity. He Didn't Have Control Of The Ball. Obviously. Otherwise It Wouldn't Have Been Called A Fumble.

have you seen video from this angle? He is clearly in possession here but you definitely can't tell whether he's across the goal line. (And I think he's not)

link it for me please i'd like to see it...i'll look for it too. I genuinely just don't know if they got it right or not. Camera angles can be harsh.

"I think" != proof. That's the point.

Right, so I was really wondering if there was a video.
And now I've seen it side by side with the "official replay," even though there are multiple official replays, CBS just chose to show us one. And it was clearly a touchdown. I am 100% certain of that.

I was totally hammered watching the game and I thought the refs did ok..take it for what its worth..

No, not obviously...all that the ball had to do was break the plane...doesn't matter if the whole ball did or just the very tip...he had control for that split second with his left hand and the nose of the ball BROKE THE PLANE, then he lost it completely...but at that point it did not matter bc the plane had already been broken and he had possession...it was called a TOUCHDOWN and needed irrefutable evidence to overturn, which I and many others believe there were not...IF they had called it a touchback on the field, I would have been ok with that...my biggest gripe is the overturning when there wasn't enough evidence to overturn it...

You must have been watching a different game. The back judge who made the pass interference call wasn't even the ref who was in position to make that call. The ref (line judge) who was looking right at the players never threw his flag. Hmmm....wonder why? Could it have been that there was no contact?
yea that was a BS call at a end of a game that should never have been made refs shouldn't change the natural outcome of a game over something that isn't just a dead giveaway call.
