Strange food combinations that you love

The pimento-pickle-dog: 1 piece of bread spread with pimento cheese, pickle spear in the center, fold it up and eat it like a hot dog. It's a good cycling snack.

I retired in 08, we had freeze dried strawberries in the Dessert Storm MREs if I recall correctly.

1985-88, MRE's were a BIG part of my diet, not by choice mind you. Dehydrated Strawberries and Peaches were the only standalone delicacies in those older MRE's. While we were in the feild, they were used as currency.:)

I graduated and commissioned in 85. Spent first tour in the 25th I'D, 4.5 years in the tropic lightening, 3.5 in the field. We fielded MREs and T-rats. I once at luke warm beef stew for 12 days straight, lol.

The only thing I refused to eat was the chicken ala king. I just couldn't.
Luckily, there are those that would trade me for beef and pork patties.

Little white powdered donuts, the breakfast of champions. Everyone needs powdered sugar to jumpstart their day!!

Nawww! It's got to be Hostess Sweet Sixteen chocolate donuts.

I don't really consider it strange, but I like a toasted ham sandwich with butter and cinnamon sugar dipped in maple syrup.

Had a friend in high school that would eat those with a tall boy bud before school. More than two things wrong with that.

You want to know what's delicious, a sausage biscuit with grape jelly spread on the sausage.

Apparently it was a lot easier for kids to get alcohol back in the day. Lol

I don't think it's strange, but I Like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with Lays BBQ potato chips in the middle. Preferably crunchy peanut butter and blackberry jelly, with seeds. And one of the few times I drink a nice ice cold glass of milk.

I've had to pretty much give up sausage biscuits, but I would always put grape jelly on them.

*unless I was dipping them in maple syrup.

I can go either way on PB, crunchy or smooth, but my jelly has to be grape, and pretty much any kind of chips in the middle is good.

BlackBerry jelly or jam. Strangely enough, I don't mind the seeds in the jam.

That is not strange IMO. Especially on the burger. Although I Prefer the egg over light.

I prefer the egg over light on my burger as well. However, last time i ordered it over light in a restaraunt, yoke busted on first bite. Looked like a money shot on front of my shirt. Scarred me for life.
