Strange food combinations that you love

I crumbled up hush puppies in a bowl of beans the other day. I didn't have any cornbread.

I like mustard in my chili.

I like to dip bread in red wine.

Mustard and chili?

Can't do it. I'll go with a juicy tomato for lubrication and use some lettuce leafs to try and prevent crust erosion.

I used to refuse to eat mayo, but accidentally did one day without knowing it was on a "tomato sammich" and loved it.

The standard chili dogs at Varsity and Skyline come with mustard.

My favorite potato salad has mayo in it but it must not be a lot because it is not creamy or slippery textured. I just pretend it's not in there.

Good point, I do eat it on my hot dogs. I just never have with like a bowl of chili.

This only works with fresh summer tomatoes, but bread slice #1 mayonaise, slice #2 crunchy peanut butter and in between fresh sliced maters, yum!

Cottage cheese as a dip for ruffle potato chips. I've heard of others doing it so not sure how strange, but some people seem weirded out about it when I'm eating it. So I don't know. But it's a great snack.

I honestly don't remember. Probably one of those kids combos like cheetos on a pbj sandwich that stuck. Plus I love mustard

I've put the Asian hot mustard on rice before.

I think this is a common one but my Dad used to make me peanut butter and banana sandwiches. mmm... I may have to have one this weekend.

I was eating steak or pork chop and eggs, some of my Heinz 57 got on my eggs....it was delicious.
