That is good country eating.
In Utah nearly every burger joint has "fry sauce" which is just half mayo/half ketchup. I like to make it with some sriracha sprinkled in too. So good.
It's not bad. Especially if the salsa is homemade.
Good choice on the mayo though. Hellmans or go home.
It's the only mayo I'll eat. It's creamy not tangy and I hate tangy mayo. I actually use Hellmans in my cornbread. It makes it real flaky and moist.
