I think we meet more than just sister Eight. I think we slowly meet the whole crew, which brings a showdown with Poppa. I didn't really have any issue with it. Having Eight just randomly show up in Hawkins would've been weird. I think Eleven goes wandering some more to find the rest of her Lab fam if you will.

Dang...y'all some gripey mugs.
I do agree about the writing for the eleven episode though, but they did say it was a nod to The Warriors, if you've seen that movie, it has some of the cheesiest dialogue ever.

Some people didn't like the episode. It happens.

I finished it. I really enjoyed it. I'm leaning towards season 1 being better. I loved the mystery of 11 in season one. She's very innocent but was also pretty tough when she needed to. I did make a mistake by not watching season one again before season 2.

Great show. Liked the Metallica Kill Em All poster in mullet douches bedroom. Just great cast of actors all the way around IMO and good story. Many 80s movies all rolled into its own story.

Also said in a lot lighter tone than it was taken, the "argghhh!" is from Charlie Brown. But keep up the personal attack there huff if it makes you feel better.

Speculation about season 3:

I'm going to guess that Maxine's brother will partner up with that demon from the other upside down world. They've clearly set up him to be a real villain, especially with him being a racist.
