you still have 25% life. If it happens a third time, you're down to 12.5%. then 6.25%, 3.125%, 1.5625%, etc.

Why can't we play with different colored footballs? White football when wearing white jersey and orange football when in Orange. It's just not fair that teams that have brown jerseys can use brown footballs.

Why do refs say: "This is the 2nd timeout of the first half"? Do they really have to remind us which half it is when it comes to timeouts? Who doesn't know how many time outs you get per half?

On another note, who else thinks you should get extra points for hitting the upright when you kick a field goal or extra point? So for a field goal you get 3 points if it goes through, but add another 3 points if it hits the post and goes through. If it hits the post and doesn't pass through both, you just get the 3 points.

An extra point gets you +2 if you hit the post.

I like it. It's like football's version of basketball's 3-pointer. Adds more variability and uncertainty to the short gimmes. Good addition in the extra point fix too.

Or maybe they should just have the goalposts rotate....

because the ball hasn't been thrown. Would a QB rush count for the passing yards? only difference is the relation to the line of scrimmage.
