TnVol fAN68- You must be just like Ga Vol, blinded by misleading wins/loses. If you can't see the simple truths I've written to him about you are blind. Just because we win does not mean we played well or coached well. David Cutcliffe scripted the gameplan for the 98 National Championship. Oh yea, do you ramember seeing Randy trembling throughout that broadcast. C'mon. I have not missed a game since 1973 and my fanship has travelled this country several times over. That fanship does not blind me from seeing the truth from week to week. At least this week we are going to put in Arian Foster at RB and hope for some improvement.

Ga.Vol has more excuses for players and coaches than the Cubs. When will we admit that Sanders has four quarters, 60 playing minuates( plus halftime), to figure out what the opposition is doing? The fact that the defense is putting 8-9 men in the box means the rest of the field is undefended, and a REASONABLE football "mind" would take about 3 posessions to sort this out. And the fact that we still won the game is no excuse to accept this kind of performance from a coach with almost TWENTY-YEARS of coaching experiance.( ever wonder why he has gotten so few job offers? ) It is clear and obvious our talent at RB is nill regardless of the front opposing us. Riggs is a thug that just began making practices this spring after he threatened to transfer to Michigan last fall. Pass the hat and get him a bus ticket to Ann Arbor. Either Tinsley or Larkins can run circles around the aforementined, and Larkins is the fastest back on the team, though Fulmer dislikes him. Linemen cannot hold their blocks for 1.5 seconds while Riggs "hucks and bucks" his way through the hole. Get ready for a 9 man front this week from Holtz , because it happened last year. Can our OC figure this out 360 days removed from our last 'Cocks game?

Put in Arian Foster and see if his ability helps the O-Line, E Ainge and our chances to beat the Cocks on saturday.

You always mention Cutcliffe, but your rose colored glasses forget how inconsistant the Vols offense was in 1998.... the year the Vols won the National Championship. But I guess you still complained about that 13-0 season too!
You mentioned Riggs and a ticket out of town. He showed me last week that he has more heart and more dedication to this team than a fan like yourself. Why don't you get the ticket and pull for whatever perfect team you can find out there.

As I said previously, you guys are so closed minded you cannot see the truth. The job of the OC is to sort out defenses ASAP and this is not happening. Obviously you don't know of the attitude Riggs packs and his propensity to either loaf thru practice or not show up ( never mind going to class ).And how long do you feel a lineman is supposed to hold his block? Oh yeah, if you back up a few days on the Vol Nation board you will find MANY unhappy posts on our playcalling. Did you listen to the postgame radio show with Tim Priest and Mark Hovanic ? Strong, Strong ridicule of RS coordinating and admittance there is NO TALENT from the present RB's. ( to your 98 offense comment, how many years experiance did Tee,Travis and Travis have.) (( your arguement of youth vs. playcalling reminds me of Kerry on national defense))
