Glad to hear it man. Miss the 90's albums..

Have been listening to Faith No More's album Angel Dust for the past 45 minutes. Talk about a vastly underrated album. Love about everything Mike Patton has put out.

Hardly underrated. Underknown perhaps. I think it's a pretty darn well-respected album from the 90s in the eyes of music enthusiasts.

Sublime was great, they were very raw, kinda garage rock feel. "40oz to Freedom" is a classic to me.

I was really into Deftones back in the day...Adrenaline/Around the Fur/White Pony. Once I seen them in concert I was much less a fan of theirs though. Chino can't sing, plain and simple, he sounded like someone was kicking him in the throat.

It's like a constant, high pitch groan when he sings live. Sounds way better when it's done up in a studio. I feel you on that.

The first time I heard sublime on the radio...I listened to the song all the way to the end just because I knew that it was going to be my last time listening to it, or them for that matter.

I've heard numerous accounts that Deftones are awful live. Kinda ruins it for me when I can't go see a good live show if I choose to.

Seen them live 9 times, had a blast every time. Yes, Chino's voice is shredded but the intensity of the shows make up for it, IMO...

I don't think they are great live. I still list them as one of my favorite live bands because I am a huge fan(makes a lot of sense I know). One of the shows I went to the music equipment was so loud I could barely hear Chino. Sometimes Chino is rather pitchy too. I'll still go see them when they come back to Nashville.

Rp, You've seen the butcher is my favorite song on the album.

I have more songs from sublime on my iPod than any other artist. I never listen to the hits quite honestly, they are among my least favorite. People who don't "get" Robbin the hood, can't fully appreciate sublime.

Best part of the show I went to was when they did Weezer's "Say It Ain't So"...again, Chino didn't sound good but it was still cool and the thing that sticks out the most about the show.

That and Incubus was amazing.

Yeah it's mine as well. I really like the album. Best since around IMO.

Excellent call on that doc. Maynard owns.

Wow, really? I thought he came off as a douche in that, maybe it's just those painfully unfunny skits clouding my judgement.

However, one of the funnier things I've ever seen is his partner guy saying that he can smell when "a woman is on her moon."

I liked "40 oz to freedom" and the other self titled CDs a lot.

I admit that if he hadn't passed away and they continued, I think there sound would eventually have gotten pretty repetitive and I would be over them.

The Tim and Eric skits were pretty bad.

40 oz to freedom is one of my top played cds of all time. Although my interest in the band has kind of waned since I've gotten older, I still like to bring them out every once in awhile. I think they were a good band that had potential to be much better, but unfortunately drugs got in the way.

yeah those skits were terrible, but maynard is what he is. i thought the best line came toward the end. "as you can probably tell, i'm not much of a people person"

he has always been one of those people that you are just not real sure what to make of him. i think this doc just showed a little glimpse into what he is really like, without giving it all away.
