We are still a good football team. After what happened last year, how can yall complain.

We have far reached past what was expected of us. We got beat by a better team, ok. We beat them last year when we should've been killed.

And for god's sake quit pinning this on Chavis. That man should be praised for all he has done for this team. Our D is depleted b/c of injuries and it still fights its a$$ off.

Be proud to be a Vol fan, get ready to crush Arky and quit compliaing about everything.

Please!!!!!

all vol fans should be complaining because we are coming up on 10 years and haven't won anything significant since 98. i don't just blame chavis for tonights loss i blame the whole staff.

I kinda agree. But why did we sit back and not pressure the QB the last drive? Chavis surely didn't miss all of those tackles today..so we can't blame that on him.

The blame should be placed on or inability to stop 3rd and long as well as not having a serious run threat.

Exactly we get 4 count em 4 turnovers and STILL lose something stinks here I think its our Defense.

We shouldve won the Fl game too but you know what, we didnt.

So quit blaming Chavis and blah blah blah.

Yeah we had mental errors but so did LSU. With Ainge heathy i serously think we win this game.

Blame it on Justin Harrell, if he could've played all those inside runs would have never happened. Just kiddin', wish like hell that Justin (and Inky) hadn't been hurt but that is part of football....

Come on guys how can you complain about a game that we had our second string quarterback in and were outplayed. We still almost won up to that last drive.

and how long were we without Cut at the reigns of the offense? Lets face it Crompton came in against the #1 defense in the country and never blinked. I have no complaints at all at this point. This time last year several were ready to jump off of a bridge. So if this year is a disappointment for some, then it proves that the masses of the miserable can not be positive (ever). The future looks bright.

Are you serious Charly? Even a healthy Ainge is not mobile enough to get the positive yardage that Crompton did. I think the Kid did a hell of a job. First significant playing time and it's against the #1 def. in the country and he never blinked. I would call that balls of steel.

everybody just said lsu was the more talented and better team. they are going to outrecruit us again this year along with florida. how is the future bright again, i must have missed it. also still does not change the fact that it is another year of fulmer's goals not being reached.

I was complaining that everytime something goes wrong someone says this line:

"Oh geeeez guys remember last year."

It's like a Mantra to us when we lose or fail.

Personally I like remembering the good times when we had an Offensive Line, and good RB's and Al Wilson.

Do we want to compare ourselves to last years team? I don't? I have forgot about last year. If you remember something your bound to replicate it.

I'm going extreem here I know but that line gets on my last nerve any more. We surpassed "last year" when we beat Alabama to get a 6th win.

Over the last few years all we have heard is how our Def. kept us in games. Eventually the luck runs out and we were due for a defensive let down.(and it all started after morley pick for a TD).

Every coach in D1 has a goal to get the NC or their conf.champ. so i guess that about 90% dont reach their goals.

Quit complaining. If we had played a game like middle schoolers, cry all you want. We played a great game, and just like the UF game, a couple of plays could have made the difference on the scoreboard. LSU was due.
