Sufficient Wide Receiver Experience

Vincent Dallas had a big drop in a game last year. I can't remember which one. Anybody know? It would have been big a touchdown, in one of the bigger stage games we played. I don't know. It felt like he came pretty close to breaking out last year, but he just couldn't make the most of his limited opportunities. I think he will be better this year. He reminds me of Gerald Jones. I hope he steps up and takes on the huge void that is the leadership role in this group of receivers. He's got big time talent creeping up behind him on the roster, so it's now or never for Vincent Dallas.

I have high expectations for Dallas, and North.

Hmmm! Maybe we should give another receiver the number 40.

"North Dallas 40!"

I've seen plenty of freshman receivers make noise in college football.

plenty is less that 10% of those signing unless noise to you is 10 or more receptions.

Sammy Watkins or AJ Green or Julio Jones made noise. There are not that many that measured up to those three as freshmen

Superstar freshman receivers usually come with pre-expectations. We expected AJ to contribute due to the kind of H.S. player he was and his size and speed. Those don't just usually crop up without prior fanfare. But it could happen.

Behind Brian Kelly might be the biggest point. Time will tell. I think Butch will be a good SEC coach, unless the expectations are too high too soon. The SEC can make a good coach look ordinary because of the number of good coaches in the league.

the expectations will be really high on CBJ,i just hope it doesn't get out of hand,i've done see people thinking 9 wins or better this year, which it may happen, but i think it won't,I expect around 6 wins, give or take

Run the right route, Catch the ball & Don't fall down after the catch.. Shouldn't be too hard. Oh wait.

This was likely not clear in my previous post but this statement is the same as your statement. I mean the returning players have that same learning curve as new kids

"but they are still learning how to play their positions and have a lot to learn yet"

:hi:

North has the preexpectations. And he'll meet them.

I heard Azzani say Antonio Brown caught 100+ passes as a freshman at CMU in this offense. Anybody know if this was in the slot or on the outside? I can't find any video.
