I've been trying to point out the folly of your ways for years. :neener2:I am officially off the BCS bandwagon. I have defended it for years because of how much excitement it brings to the entire season, but Utah is getting screwed. They are the only undefeated team in the country and it doesn't matter. Two one loss teams are battling it out and the only other teams that were deemed worthy were other one loss teams. You play who you have scheduled. The Utes beat Michigan and Alabama during their undefeated season. They deserve a shot to see if they could beat OU, Texas, UF or USC.
Of course, It's not bothering me too much because few things bring me greater joy than seeing Bama fans in such misery. Roll Tide roll, round the bowl and down the hole. Buck Fama.

The only reasonable argumet is the devaluation of regular season and conf championships, which I don't agree with.i think adding to the fact that the NCAA is pushing back the NC game until next Thursday helps change my mind. You could easily play 3 games during that span, all after finals have been taken.
Pushing things back so far from New Year's Day is really shooting down their "not enough time to get a playoff in and still take finals" argument. With this down time, and 8 team playoff is easily possible.
Not to mention the entire month of December while students are finishing up exams could lend itself to a leisurely playoff time.i think adding to the fact that the NCAA is pushing back the NC game until next Thursday helps change my mind.
