Just make it to where you have to win your conference (certainly under a plus one) to qualify for a playoff.

That hasn't changed. Only a full playoff schedule would make most happy, but it's better than what we've got. BTW if you haven't noticed there are several teams that are highly ranked that play a weak schedule and are in a weak BCS conference, so that really doesn't change.

The presidents of these universities have to see the big picture. How can they ignore even more money with a playoff?

I think my disdain for Bama went overboard tonight when they showed a little boy with his face done up in all crimson and white with about 4 minutes left and he didn't really know what was going on. I was ticked that he was too young to understand Bama was losing.

Pushing things back so far from New Year's Day is really shooting down their "not enough time to get a playoff in and still take finals" argument. With this down time, and 8 team playoff is easily possible.

I NEVER understood this BS excuse from BCS excusers. It seems that every single other level of collegiate football find a way around this with their playoff.....so those colleges offer less important classes or something? The D1A presidents just have a houlier than thou complex when it comes to the fact that D1AA, D2, D3, and NAIA all find a way to fit in a playoff.

I have to agree, but my thoughts were that he was bred to be a nobody in life. i just can't understand how these bammers can pro-create and doom their children. :cray:
