Bogus. UGA fans took over Notre Dame and sold out the Rose Bowl in '18. Unless your team is in one of the 3 CFP games, the bowls are more than meaningless and will eventually die on the vine unless they innovate. I vote to let early enrollees play in the bowls going forward. They are just glorified exhibition games.UGA has a reputation for having a notoriously poor traveling fanbase. Gotta be careful. HS grad goes to XFL, which will fold. Then, that individual has lost amateur status and will have to wait 1-2 years before eligible to go to NFL because college football no longer an option.I doubt the XFL survives, but what if it does and they start offering high school kids or NCAAF Fresh & Soph contracts?
The NCAA will have to start paying kids to survive

It isn't a given. But it could happen. The bowl games aren’t going anywhere. Espn makes a killing airing the bowls during a tv dead season when every other TV channel can’t draw one third of the viewership ESPN gets for the Bahamas Bowl. It’s no longer about who’s at the game, it’s the fact that a lot of people are watching at home and getting ad revenue. The xfl won’t end the ncaa, that’s funny to think about though.
I love how every year we get people complaining about free college football on their tv
