Nah, I don't get them.
Sounds like a neat feature but honestly, can't miss what I never had.

I have to give credit to Freak though, knew he said he was going to make upgrades but that man put in some work.

Hey, I just tried something. I "multi quoted" your post above in another thread. Did it alert you saying I quoted you in this thread or the other one?

@chargervol have you double-checked to make sure you have alerts turned on for tagging? It should be on by default but can't hurt to check.

@Freak Could we do a poll or something to see if people are utilizing the intermediate pop-up for re-organizing quotes that comes up when you multi-quote? Or could we have that not show when the user only quotes one person? It's an intermediate step that I've found I've not used at all after having quoted probably 50 posts since the conversion. I don't even use it for multi-quotes. My thought is if I want them in a specific order I can click them in that order, or I can cut/paste in the new replies window later.

Use the reply button when quoting a single post. Only use the quote button for multi quote.

@Freak I know you are looking into the missing likes. It's weird because when I click on my profile on the Likes Received it shows more.

If you aren't mutli-quoting then simply click the reply button to the right of quote, instead.

It shows more where?

I've found the issue, it's just going to take time to sit down and fix it. All the likes are still in the database, just not being counted.

Freak, I've yet to see a response from you to those asking for functional private messaging. I am mindful of prior PM abuses and how these may make you reluctant to reintroduce them. If you were to reinstate PMs, would it be possible to block PMs from select members (e.g. those trolling you)? Restrict PMs to those you have elected to follow? Some other configuration which would allow you and the mods to avoid PM barrages? An individually elective on/off switch ("This member has turned off PMs")?

@Tin Man I’ve addressed it on here. I’m just not a big fan of it for numerous reasons. For one, I want the discussions here to be on the board. Same reason I’m not a fan of chat boxes.

I’ll use it to communicate violations of board rules from time to time, but that’s about it.

I appreciate your feedback though.

If I click on my account name in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and choose "Likes Received."

On the old site, there was a "number of users online" counter at the bottom of the page. Any chance that will be added to this site?

Really loving the new site, THANKS!
