Were you the one who mentioned this issue to me before? I know one person brought it up (I can't recall and I'm too lazy to look it up right now) but it doesn't seem to be widespread. What phone/browser are you using?

Have you tried installing a different keyboard?
I downloaded the Google keyboard from playstore, has the search button on the keyboard and works very well. Or do you have an Apple?

is is correct. I have tried everything I can think of no relief. Reset chrome, installed diffrent keyboards, 3 to be exact, same deal. I am posting this one ut corrections. Any double words, missing tters, complete words, or other errors I didn't catch are result of keyboard not aying ly. As you can e is hit or miss. No particular letters words or other common denominator that I see. I m open to suggestions but plan just k uneducated af moving rward when I post.

Not trying to lessen the importance of the problem, but what if you typed in a notepad, or Google docs and copied all and pasted here?

I get what your saying. It's just inconvenient. I can get by with it. I can either..
Take time to fix the noticable errors, like I did here.
Say F-it and let Volnation think I don 't have my grade 12,
Upgrade my phone, overdue by a couple of years
Use my laptop
Respond with a pre-typed message in an app like you suggested
Move to a different site <- not an option as other site's are trash compared to VN.
I have options and worse things have happened. I was hoping someone else had the same problem but it seems I got the short straw on this one.

Found a better solution for me. Setting the browser to show in desktop mode in Chrome's options fixes all the issues minus the keyboard being slow to enter what I type but it types it correctly. Missing letters, missing words, and all other issues are resolved. It's not as fast to load pages but it's not painful to wait a few extra seconds.

Great news. I forgot chrome had a desktop mode. This may work for @YankeeVol too, who likes using the desktop version on mobile.

One feature I do miss from the old forum @Freak is the "new post" button instead of just the quick reply tab at the bottom. It's nice to have every once in a while to be able to open a reply in a new tab and have just a reply instead of the whole thread showing up.

Just a thought.

I’ve gotten used to the new layout. The only thing I wish I could see is the last thread that was posted in from each forum

Ever since my employer upgraded to Firefox 60.0.2, VN and a few other sites crash repeatedly. As the new VN works just fine and dandy on Safari, I'm blaming my employer's IT Dept, the version, lack of updates, and maybe the company firewall.

I know the new software doesn't support it, but I'll add my voice to those who miss the ignore thread feature. Really helped clear up the clutter on the forum page listing all the threads.

If you think about it, we spend a significant amount of time reading through the thread titles, picking one to read next. And it's one of those things we do over and over again. Ends up saving a lot of time to be able to block out those threads we're sure we have no interest in.

Ah well, maybe someday.

My theory is that if you have notifications come in AFTER you sleep your phone, when you wake your phone, the browser clock is still set to when you slept it, and the notifications are hard-timed to when they came in, so they'll show future. A refresh will also refresh the browser clock, and then the issue goes away.

Hi Freak!! Loving the new site, but I’ve noticed my number of and likes of posts are now significantly less than the old site. Any info on why that’s is? I think we can all agree that my posts are hilarious and like worthy, so any idea?

One thing I've noticed is that many issues are experienced by either 1 or a very small group of posters.
At first, I thought I, or others, were doing something wrong but not getting that vibe anymore. It just likes to mess with some of us.
