Summit of Americas... but only for certain members of America

This whole thread is a giant who gives a sh*t.

Ohnoe, the Guatemalan president is butthurt because the third world dictators weren't invited.
No leader in Latin America outside of the 3 countries mentioned would have been this vocal and stood up to the US in this fashion just 5 years ago.

Assuming you're speculation is correct, although I'm not granting it. So what? Are we worried about how lippy a few third world dictators are getting?

I mean who wouldn't be boiling over with rage that Cuba, Venezuela and Guatemala declined invitations to the party?

@Rasputin_Vol is looking to distract from the current administrations successful salvage and galvanization of its alliances with our NATO and EU partners. "Pay no attention to NATO growing, look Guatemala isn't going to come to a conference."

Surely you can't be serious. This White House has nothing to do with Finland and Sweden being nervous about Russia expansionism during the Biden administration. If anything, an idiot in the White House is a threat to the world.

Yes, always. Isolationism should now be considered backwards.

one's international reputation is not the same concept as isolationism. when we were fighting multiple wars in the ME to "help" we weren't exactly loved around the world.

Who said anything about Finland and Sweden?

I think it's disingenuous to even suggest that the U.S.'s response to the supporting NATO countries through backfilling of arms as well as directly to Ukraine is not a signal that the U.S. is all in for NATO. Look - Trump was right when he questioned the sanity of NATO members who were spending money buying oil from the very country they spent billions on protecting themselves from. The current administration has signaled that we're to be counted on. And that's in stark contrast from the previous administration position and mixed messages that we may not be available if Russia attacked, or that our support was conditional.

It's cool though, I wouldn't expect the Trumpers to give an inch on not shi**ting on Biden's administration under any circumstance.

Well, the Democrats/Progressives welcomed Trump with open arms. Don't you remember?

Don't expect Biden to be interested in improving the quality of life in any areas that contribute to these caravans of illegals.
