Ok...2 out of 365 days of the year. Compare their yearly weather to Tennessee and then get back to me. Rain is rare there and snow...even rarer

According to the climate data, they average almost 7 inches of snow a year. Without looking, I would assume that to be roughly equal to Tennessee

I don't know, but where I live, in Crossville, averages almost two feet of snow a year. And El Paso has a LOT more sunny days compared to anywhere in Tennessee. Sure they have the occasional cold front like Tennessee, but generally the weather is pretty pleasant and not much humidity. I was there earlier this month and for it being December it was pretty nice, around 65 degrees

Why is El Paso terrible? Great weather, has it's own certain beauty in the landscape, and believe it or not, low crime.

You and I must have different definitions of great weather.

I'm just not a huge fan of looking out in my front yard and seeing this..

To each their own, though.

Me either, which is why I said it has it's own certain beauty...as in different, from Tennessee. I love the greenery in Tennessee but El Paso is "pretty" in a different way since it just looks so different than here. Tennessee is far more beautiful, but El Paso is a lot prettier than most of West Texas. At least there are mountains in the surrounding El Paso area lol. Also it's not far from New Mexico which does have some areas I would consider cool, like the White Sands area

This is my bosses 'yard' in Arizona (He stays there in the winter), and most people would probably consider this an ugly landscape, but there are people who would think it was beautiful. I didn't think it was anything special the first time I went out there, but it's grown on me and has awesome sunsets. Like you said, to each their own. El Paso isn't beautiful compared to the Smoky Mountains or anything, but compared to say...Little Rock, I'd have to give El Paso the edge.
