How in the world can #4 and unbeaten Miss. State visit TBA in a big early SEC matchup not be televised? Yet the A&M @ UK game is on the SEC network. Im getting tired of watching via the internet.

How did lowly Miss. State, in nowheresville, suddenly get so good? I know nothing about that team and so will have to watch this one.

I was certain this game would be on the regular SECN channel. Smh

They got themselves a good coach, and good recruiter. Also, didn't shoot themselves in the foot hiring a Donnie Tindall.

I would say much of it has to do with the letter V. Vic Schaefer taking a head coaching job at his age? Who would have thunk. Then growing something from nothing by getting Victoria Vivians to stay in state then recruiting around her. He has done a really great job there.

Miss State is so out of the way, they could be building nuclear devices there and we would probably never know!

Everytime we play them Vivians makes about five or six threes from over thirty feet out. She was making them from an area where you don't even guard. That has been the reason they have won. If she has a cold night like Arkansas we will win but hasn't happened the last two times we have played them.

When we played them last year not one game was at TBA . And them being ranked will have our focus and will come ready to play

Our girls will have to bring their "A" game. Play 40 minutes of defense..
Play Much better than they did against Vandy....Playing as underdogs I think they will focus and prevail..

I have not had time to go back and look but I think VV has wore us out several time other than last year. VS is as good of a coach as any in the SEC. He has completely changed the overall attitude at MS about WBB. Will never be a priority there but a great coach. I look for VV to do the same this year because I do not think MeMe is big enough to cover her. JMO.

Diamond has to get her shooting percentage up. Whether that means taking less shots or better shots she is at 40 percent for the season. No reason not to be higher. She can't be taking 18 shots and making 5 she has to work for better shots and let other players shoot that have better shots.

I would never tell Diamond not to take 18 shots, but her shot selection was shaky yesterday . But Diamond and Jamie and russell all need about 15-18 shots a game period.

With her athletic ability she can get a shot off anywhere at any time but she appears to shoot a lot of shots off-balance.

I agree she should shoot it a lot but her shot selection could be better. She can get a shot anytime and can easily get in the paint no need to take off balance or heavily guarded shots. Give it up and get it back for an open shot.

Here is the conundrum of DD. She is athletically not an average player and that means she can do things on the court, typical players can't do. She can shoot over opponents; she can beat people to the rim and get lay-ups, and so on. Most of her shots are doing those exact things. So, against Vandy she blew by a defender and had a nice ten foot floater that clanked off the back of the iron; or she gets to the rim and misfires a lay-up and so on. The LVs need her to get those shots and more importantly make those shots.

So, for DD, the problem is not shot selection per se but finishing. She is, on paper, the teams best player, so 18 shots is not excessive but 5 for 18 is not a formula for success. I hope DD is taking a lot of extra reps....

As long as Diamond's shooting form looks great to the fans she'll shoot all night & miss. I'm sure Holly gives her the green light to shoot anytime all game long.

The one thing about DD and JN that bothers me is their body language. You should never be abke to tell what a player is mentally thinking. You know when its going bad because they hang their head and seem to pout. When its going good they have almost a cocky showboat attitude.

Get Apple TV and you can watch all of the SECN+ games on your TV with excellent reception.

You can also hook a HDMI cable from your computer to your TV and watch the game on your TV.
