Super Bowl XLI Thread: Colts vs Bears

way to go PM and the Colts!

Guess that's 1 less thing we have to hear about around here. :good!:

Complete domination. Shouldn't have been as close as the scorboard indicates, but who cares.

Congrats to the Colts, their fans, Dungy, and Peyton. Good for those guys. I'm also glad to see Marvin Harrison get a ring, easily the most underrated WR in the game because he's just so quiet. Excellent catch there in the third quarter.

Peyton does certainly deserve it, he's now more than ever before an icon for the University of Tennessee. It's also sweet that it was a gator qb that he faced, and defeated.

Also, I hope the NFL never gets to the point of making the SB look like a cheesy circus. (tongue in cheek)

....also found it intresting that the NFC had won 10 straight coin tosses and lost 8-10 of the Superbowls....thats wowzer odds.

I remember an era when it never seemed like the AFC would win another SB. Things go in cycles I guess.

Manning still hasn't won the big game until he gets a time machine and beats the Florida Gators.

Super Bowl MVP does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it for all the "Peyton can't win the big game" proponents. Way to go Peyton and all of the Colts!!!!!!!!

Yeah . . . That boat sailed about 10 years ago.

I was thinking that exact same time frame in my head. It just seems to keep getting worse though. Like a run away train. Some people in marketing don't seem to get the concept that bigger is not always better. I hope at some point someone comes along and pulls in the reigns on this crap. There is a ton to make fun of, but one for sure was Shula walking the trophy down the line. He looked like a goober and there was nothing exciting about it.
