Super Bowl XLIV: Colts vs. Saints

He won't get a chance to hurt Peyton. After the Jets hit him once (sacked him twice), they never got through the Offensive Line.

I know, unless they hit him late like they did to Farve. But it is funny to listen to a d coord. with a pass D ranked 26 run his mouth.

Freeney on passing downs would be fine. I still feel very good about this game.

I also feel really good about it, I keep thinking that the Saints were down by 3 touchdowns to the Dolphins, got destroyed by Dallas, beat by the Bucs and had to get 5 turnovers to beat the Vikings and could only manage to beat them by 3 in OT

I am beyond tired of hearing the Saints and Drew Brees trying to play the "No One Thinks We Can Win" card.

You're in the damn Super Bowl. Shut your mouth and just show up and play.

This trying to use the Media as Bulleting Board material is sophomoric. Just play the damn game.

I am sick of hearing that moronic "who dat". But to your point they have to try to find extra motivation because they have already accomplished their goal. It is not there time, they are just excited to be in the game.

If playing in the Super Bowl and winning the NFC is not enough motivation, your professionalism needs to be questioned.

You're not the MEAC Champions. You won the NFC, about damn time to act like it.

And let it be known I despise the Saints.

I agree with you, but that is my opinion of why they are playing the no respect card. They have already accomplished their goal. I truly believe they are just happy to be in the game.

Are you going to link every time a Colts player breaks a fingernail? You have linked Wayne's and Freeney's injuries in 2 different threads for both players. Look we all know who is dinged up, both guys will play. Wayne has been on the injury report for a long time. Maybe you should worry more about your team making the playoffs and less about our injuries.

I'm posting up the news; and that's what's been happening

if espn or SI were putting up news about "reggie bush is hurt" or "brees and colston have concussions after running into brick walls" i'd be posting that too; i've just been posting news i find on injuries before the super bowl since this stuff hasnt been in either of the threads and they pertain to the team before the game; and this is what i've been finding on the front pages

there was no ill-will or insulting in intention about it about it, but you want to be angry and prickish about it go right ahead

Been up every pretty much all day, but Reggie Wayne's back in practice; Freeney's still sitting out (now 2 weeks w/o practice); Jerraud Powers back in practice for Fri/Sat

Usually if I didn't have a dog in the fight I pull for the team with the most players I like, the Saints got Marvin Mitchell, Bob Meachem, & Jabari Greer. All three used 2 ball for the Big Orange. Colts got Ol' Peyton, Reggie Wayne, Addai, Freeney, Mathis, Clark & Saturday. I've watched enough Colt football the past 10 years to know I like these guys.

The tiebreaker comes down to has the most bammers the Saints have 2: Roman Harper and that thing on Drew Brees's face . Go Colts.
