Callahan: I think that list of favorites was a bit misleading, in some ways. He and his brother are going to the same school, unless something crazy happens, and as Keaten told me, if Destin wanted to go to UT, Keaten would go with him. I think the Vols will be serious contenders for both of the Wade twins if they want to be. They're recruiting them pretty hard right now, but we'll find out in the coming weeks, as their board continues to fall into place with the new staff, just how much of a priority those guys are.

Tennessee has turned up the heat on Destin and Keaten Wade. Heupel and company zoomed with them on Wednesday night as they make the twins a major priority for the 2022 cycle. As of now, Kentucky seems like the biggest threat to Tennessee.

Elsewhere, Tennessee continues to rise in the eyes of Destin and Keaten Wade. They would love to announce sometime this summer but we could see that timeline being pushed up. Having watched Destin run routes last weekend, it was easy to see that he is capable of playing a number of different positions at the next level. We believe he would like to start at quarterback but would be willing to play other positions if that doesn’t work out.
